A: There are many factors to keep in mind – the total number of files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. That said, we do our very best to accomplish all web site migrations within a 48–hour period. Less sizeable sites are transferred much faster – usually within 24 hours.

A: We do not request any personal info. We will need, though, the login information for your current web hosting account and the name of the website that you need to move.

A: In order for us to start the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose the very same info you have given to your old hosting provider. We’ve also got a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how private data is used.

A: Nope. Your site will remain visible online during the transfer. As soon as everything is done on our end, we’ll notify you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything’s alright, all you will need to do is modify your domain’s DNS resource records.

A: Nah. Apart from your login info for the Control Panel, we don’t need anything. We will never get in touch with your hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

In essence, if we can access your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site creation platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
